Sorry I haven't kept up with this! I have a 10 month old Grandbaby with her parents living at the Ranch now. We have had to downsize a lot and are still looking for a special home for Patches. I have two new Service rats, thanks to Happy Go Lucky Rattery! HGLR Nicodemus ans HGLR Hiyo Silver (Nicky and Hiyo for short).
They just had a HUGE writ-up in our local paper! (Pic's to follow!)
Will add more later....Dani
Today I went down the hill to meet Deanna from another rescue to get two new PEW Dwarf boys we named Tweedle De and Tweedle Dum. They are about the same size as Zip, Zeb and Hammie, but are full grown and won't get any bigger. They seem to be really well socialized so should make great new education ratties!
Our New baby Boys, ZEB, ZIP and HAMMIE started harness training today. All did well and seemed to find it interesting and exciting. Zip is the easiest to catch and seemed most at home, we will see if that holds true as training continues.
New boys to train. Michaelangelo is retired. I will still take him out for short trips, but he's really too old and getting frailer to work. So we have three new baby boys that are starting training. They are dumbos, but not velveteens so I'm not sure how training will go. First step is just good socialization. We will be handeling them every day and start harness and leash training as soon as we can.
Finally a blog! Now you can check in every few days and see what's happening at the Ranch. As busy as we are, I may not get on every day, but I will try to get on at least once a week.
